HELENA, MT – December 3, 2007 – The Montana Financial Education Coalition and its collaborating partners, the Montana Department of Commerce Housing Division and the Montana Board of Housing, will hold a series of home foreclosure workshops this week in Billings, Great Falls and Missoula.

“Montana’s mortgage market is in good shape, but it’s never too early to be proactive by facing the issues head on,” said Montana Department of Commerce Director Anthony Preite. “These workshops are an excellent opportunity to gather and exchange information about the state of Montana’s housing market.”

Housing advocates, realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers, homeownership counseling organizations, consumer advocacy groups, tribal employees, state and federal housing officials, and state legislators, have been invited to attend.
