Rehberg Announces Low-Income Energy Assistance Headed to Montana

WASHINGTON, DC - January 17, 2008 - Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, today announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is releasing $3,687,369 to help eligible low-income homeowners and renters meet home energy costs.

Northwest Energy Efficient Manufactured Housing Program (NEEM)/ENERGY STAR

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality is assisting with the promotion of NEEM/ENERGY STAR energy-efficient manufactured homes. NEEM homes may be heated with propane, natural gas or electricity. NEEM/ENERGY STAR homes are certified by the State Energy Offices where they are manufactured; Idaho, Washington, Oregon, or California.

Rehberg Announces $255,000 Grant for Dawson County Domestic Violence Program

WASHINGTON, DC, September 4, 2007 – Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, announced the Dawson County Domestic Violence Program has been awarded a $255,000 grant to help provide assistance and transitional housing for victims of domestic violence.
